Tina Turner – Erwin Bach
Erwin and Tina have had what we would term as a long “courtship” dating for 27 years before getting hitched in 2013. Their love has stood the test of time as this is typically not the norm. The American-born Swiss songwriter, singer, actress, and dancer is one of the celebrities on this list who affirms that “relationship” does not necessarily mean “marriage.”
The newlyweds moved to Switzerland where Tina signed up for assisted suicide after suffering some serious health problems. In 2017, however, in the most chivalrous of moves ever, Bach donated her one of his kidneys and instantaneously saved her life.
