Denzel and Pauletta Washington have been married for an impressive 35 years. They are easily amongst the list of Hollywood’s longest-lasting couples, and they’ve also served as an example of one of the most successful marriages. They started out on a bumpy road with two rejected proposals and along the way, there have also been divorce rumors. They weathered the storm and more than three decades and four kids later, they are not about to call it quits. These days, Washington has been doing more work behind the scenes, and in 2016, he starred in and directed Fences. The film snagged up a Best Picture Academy Award nomination.
