LIZ CHENEY & PHILIP PERRY – MARRIED FOR 29 YEARS
The rigors of the political world haven’t done anything to dampen the long-lasting marriage between Liz Cheney and Philip Perry. Both attorneys and civil servants with five children met while attending Colorado College and dated for a while. They would eventually decide to marry in a Wyoming ceremony in 1993.
Cheney’s political career has seen her serve as the Wyoming at-large congressional district’s U.S. Congress representative since 2017, while Perry is a former George W. Bush administration political appointee. While she alternates between serving the U.S. government and running her private business ventures as a lawyer, her husband remains a partner at Latham & Watkins.
