Dolly Parton – Carl Thomas Dean
Dolly Parton easily claims a spot amongst the top list of country musicians. She’s had equal success in married life and has spent 53 years with Carl Dean. They initially met in 1964 when she was just 18 and he was 21. They both agree that their love brewed at first sight, and Dean recalls thinking that he was going to marry her after their first meeting. However, the couple decided not to have any children. Parton explained during an interview with People Country that she always knew that having kids wasn’t something she wanted.
