Jane Hill – Sara Shepherd
BBC anchor Jane Hill came out of the closet in 2009, announcing that she is attracted to people of the same gender. It wasn’t long before Hill and her then-girlfriend Sara Shepherd, a TV camerawoman, were planning to go into a civil partnership.
The couple now resides in North London. Hill bravely fought breast cancer, and she had a mastectomy n 2018 after the diagnosis. It wasn’t until mid-2019 when she revealed her battler with the illness on ITV’s Lorraine. Hill also revealed that she chose not to get a reconstructive procedure because it meant having multiple surgeries.
