Bill Gates – Melinda Gates
Bill Gates gets a lot of credit for being an icon and pioneer who founded Microsoft and made computers personal. But behind every successful man is a woman, and in his case, it’s a woman who played an integral part in marketing the brand and making it stand out successfully. Melinda Gates worked in marketing, making a success of products like Encarta, Publisher, and Word. She became General Manager but retired in 1996 to focus on her family. Eventually, Gates retired too and started the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000. She became one of the most influential women globally and built the foundation into the biggest private charity organization.
