Joanna Lumley – Stephen Barlow
Joanna Lumley gained fame for starring in the British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous. However, it was while working on the show The New Avengers that she heard about her husband-to-be Stephen Barlow, a 13-year-old up-and-comer at the time. Ten years later, she would meet him in person, although he would marry someone else first. Barlow’s marriage to the other woman didn’t last, and the first person he sent a note of interest to after divorcing was Lumley. She invited him over for tea and the rest, as they say, is history. Lumley will star in a series called The Inn at the Edge of the World.
